Jorge Cano abandons the universal principles of the recent art historiography in favor of micro-narratives. His works are no longer branches that spring from a common trunk. Now that the relationships between high and popular culture are destroyed, its art objects (paintings, collages, drawings and installations that invade the space) play with abstraction as well as his photography, but only as cards of one of the possible games. The art object itself as a context that determines its meaning.
