Marta Bernardes

The constraint of a nowhere place emerges as restlessness and motivation for the work presented.

Just as the homeopathic medication is administrated in small, contained dosis, the work presented takes also that form; dimensions that reveal various intentions and aesthetic interpretations.Locations arise as roads, trails, mountains, hills and others. The nowhere place, will be designed, from what we perceive as a place to explore, that is, what is not in sight. It will there for exist from the need to prove its own existence.

Bachelor of Fine Arts. She lives between Madrid and Porto.

Bachelor in Fine Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts of Oporto.

Currently conducts her doctoral thesis in Philosophy under the direction of José Miguel Marinas.
