Xoán Anleo

BA and PhD in Fine Arts at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. He focuses his work in the audiovisual media, making film / video, photography, installations and audio. In his work he reflects on the identity in order to consider the concepts within the environment located between subject and object, the public and private and the strategies of representation and reality, as a social and political construction of how we move in a space.

He has composed soundtracks for theater and contemporary dance, video, sets and music productions.

He teaches at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Pontevedra, Vigo University. Lives and works in Vigo.
